We are down to our last few portrait sessions for the fourth Children of Enid and Garfield County display and it is now scheduled to be unveiled August.

Once again, the response was wonderful, and to date, several thousand dollars of participants’ donations have been distributed among 22 different local non-profits. With that in mind, we are opening applications for a fifth Children of Enid and Garfield County display for early 2024. We are seeking children ages 3 months thru senior 2024 to be photographed for this display celebrating the promise of the future for our community. Those who are chosen through our online application will be photographed by Wess and will appear in the 2024 display. Successful applicants will be asked to make a donation of $50 to the local non-profit of their choice at the time of their portrait planning session. There are many wonderful organizations that can benefit from this event and it's up to the applicant who will receive the donation.

This project began in September of 2020, as a means to support our local charitable organizations during the pandemic. The success of this effort has led us to continue with the displays.  Garfield County has an abundance of organizations that are available to help our citizens who are in need as well as an abundance of generous citizens who support those organizations.

Wess has a unique  and acclaimed style of natural portrait photography which seeks to reveal the personality of each and every subject. Since opening the studio in 1975, he has photographed a little less than ten thousand portrait sessions of individuals and families from Enid and across the Great Plains, the South and the Southwest. You probably have seen the portraits displayed in your friends' and family 's homes as well as at many local businesses.

Jolene has been the studio's retouch artist since 2004. Her goal is to make each subject look as they do "on a great day" and to exercise restraint in manipulating the final image for a natural, timeless portrait.
